A well illustrated volume in the Lonsdale Library of Sports, Games and Pastimes, series edited by the Earl of Lonsdale and Eric Parker, also the editor for this volume. Eric Parker (1870-1955) was Editor-in-Chief of The Field and a writer on sport, topography and natural history. A comprehensive guide to trout fishing, including its life history, entomology and trout-flies, fly dressing and fishing in lochs and lakes, etc. A limited edition was first published in 1929 and the trade edition in 1932 (which is the date given at the end of this volume).
