Marrin's Bookshop

Antiquarian Books, Maps & Prints

Welcome to Marrin’s Bookshop. Established in 1946 by George Marrin, we have sold antiquarian books, literary ephemera, rare maps, and unique prints from our Folkestone premises on Sandgate Road for more than 50 years.

We take pride in sourcing out-of-print titles and first editions for our clients, and have a large H.G. Wells collection in particular, as well as numerous rare volumes pertaining to the history of the town of Folkestone and Kent in general.

Should you have a particular query, please do not hesitate to contact us by telephone or email.

We are members of the Antiquarian Booksellers Association (ABA), and the International League of Antiquarian Booksellers (ILAB). We are also members of the Provincial Booksellers Fairs Association (PBFA). All of these organisations have rigorous ethical standards regulating the trade.

Due to COVID-19 we are open by appointment only.
Please ring 07982 731 001 to arrange, even if at short notice.
