Bound in original red cloth, gilt with brown titles on front board, in pictorial dust wrapper, with edge wear and missing section at top edge of board and head of spine, which is sunned. Top edge red, others rough cut. Spine and board edges lightly sunned, flyleaves browned and scattered foxing; otherwise a very good copy. 1933 inscription on verso of first free endpaper. Illustrated by 24 colour plates, including frontispiece, by 68 text figures, including whole page and by tables. An account of some famous Yorkshire hunts, written and illustrated by The artist, Charles Walter Simpson (1885-1971), best known as an animal and bird painter.
