Some spotting of edges, but otherwise a very good copy. Decorated by publisher's device on title page. First edition in dust wrapper of the collection of novellas by John Fowles (1926-2005), including themes taken from medieval myths. The titles of the stories are The Ebony Tower, Eliduc (a translation of a Breton lai by Marie de France), Poor Koko, The Enigma and The Cloud.
