Notes

The Hall, home of the Lambton family, was built between 1890 and 1900 and enlarged in the 1930s. It was filled with furniture from Callows of Mount Street and include numerous paintings by Paul Maze, a local artist. As the area was close to coastal inlets it was smuggler land covered by a network of lanes, with a tradition of a secret passage from West Marden to a cave in a quarry.
