An early monograph on the badger, including a discussion of badger control. Sir Alfred Edward Pease (1857-1939 of a Quaker background, served as a Liberal MP, 1885-1902, after which he travelled in Africa and settled in British East Africa, later Kenya, hosting hunting safaris. i
