Occasional foxing, but otherwise a very good copy. 1916 gift inscription on second free endpaper. Illustrated by 16 pages of colour plates, including frontispiece. Decorated by publisher's device on title page. Folk tales of Hindu mythology by William Douglas Monro (1874-1958), missionary and teacher. With the artwork of Evelyn Paul (1883-1967), artist and book illustrator, influenced in the style of her work by medieval illuminations.
