Notes
The frontispiece and first poem illustrate a little black girl with her Golliwog but most of the illustrations depict anthropomorphised animals with several hunting and sporting scenes. Harry Bingham Nielson (1861-1941) was a children's book illustrator who also worked on magazines and comics.
