A well illustrated volume in the Lonsdale Library of Sports, Games and Pastimes. Eric Parker (1870-1955) was Editor-in- Chief of The Field and a writer on sport, topography and natural history. Principally concerned with game birds and wild fowl, it also includes chapters on gun dogs, the legal aspect of shooting, first-aid and shooting accidents and game cookery. A reprint of the first edition of 1929.
