Notes
The 25 inch to one mile maps (each sheet covering 1½ square miles) provide the most detailed picture of the landscape of Kent and are now very difficult to find. This sheet shows Beaver Green and Beaver in the centre with New Town and the railway works to the east, at this date all else is open fields.
