Page edges, flyleaves, preliminary and end pages foxed, scattered elsewhere; otherwise a very good copy Arnold Talbot Wilson (1884-1940) was a soldier, colonial administrator and Persian specialist, later Conservative MP. In 1939 he joined the RAF as an air gunner, but his Wellington bomber crashed near Dunkirk in 1940. Book club edition of the OUP first of 1942.
