4to. 10 x 8.5 inches. 95 pp. In green linen spine over pictorial printed paper covered boards. Some wear to extremities and a light foxing of flyleaves; otherwise a very good copy with no ownership inscription or drawings coloured in. Illustrated throughout by black and white drawings, including frontispiece and title page and other vignettes. This collection of Rupert tales was issued by Marks and Spencer in 1948. The three stories were originally published by Sampson Low in 1934 (no.39), 1928 (no.2) and in 1934 (no.36) respectively as part of the series, Rupert Little Bear Library, 1928-36, all written and illustrated by Rupert's creator, Mary Tourtel (1874-1940) of Canterbury.
