Edges and margins foxed, but otherwise a very good copy. 1944 gift inscription on first free endpaper. With facsimile signatures of the two authors. Novel with a Cumberland setting, the work of the author being rewritten by Sydney Fowler Wright (1874-1965), writer and poet, noted for historical, science fiction and mystery novels.
