Notes
A very attractive view of Ramsgate from the sea with the pretty town sitting on the cliff looking over its Harbour. A steamer is moored inside the Harbour arm and other shipping enlivens the view. Locally published lithographs of the coastal towns were very popular in the early nineteenth century but, being separately issued, have a high mortality rate. Rare.
