Large, colour-printed, folding map on mull-reinforced paper, 28.5 x 20.5 inches, showing Central London from Gt. Ormond Street to Bethnal Green and Hungerford Bridge to St. Katharine's Dock. Preserved within the original reinforced blue cloth wrappers, with printed title and pasted on label 'City of London. Scale 12 inch to a mile'. A little dusty and with some hand-embellishment and annotation but a detailed and colourful map. The map was is undated but dates from after the construction of the second Blackfriars Railway Bridge (1886) and prior to the construction of Tower Bridge (completed 1894).
