8vo. 8.75 x 6.75 inches. 45 pp. Bound in original yellow cloth with red titles and block on front board, in unclipped pictorial dust wrapper, illustrated by the author, with sunned spine and edges, and some small chips at head of spine. Rough cut edges. A little wear and sunning of extremities, but otherwise a very good copy. November Second Impression of the September First Edition of Old Possum's Book of Practical Cats, showing the work in its original state. The whimsical poems by T. S. Eliot were later performed on stage as the Lloyd Webber musical, Cats, from 1981. They were originally included by the author in letters to his godchildren in the 1930s.
