Slight sunning of spine, minor wear to extremities and few traces of spotting, but otherwise a very good copy. Signature on first free endpaper. Illustrated by tables. A basic guide to banking early twentieth century style when, as the author observes a bank's customers were almost entirely made up of the following classes: Shopkeepers, Merchants, Financiers, Professional Men of every kind, Ladies, Private and Public Companies and Corporate Bodies. The chapters cover Accounts, BIlls and Loans, Bank of England, Investments and Dividends, etc. Fifteen years earlier John George Kiddy had published The Country Banker's Handbook.
