Both hinges starting to crack, spine very worn boards faded and front corners worn and stained; otherwise a very good clean interior. Illustrated by 22 hand coloured plates, one folding, and including frontispiece and title page, and by text figure facsimile. Facsimile reprint of the first of five of The Christmas Books of Mr. M. A. Titmarsh, by the novelist, William Makepeace Thackeray (1811-63), originally published 1847.
