A little wear to extremities, and some browning and foxing of flyleaves, preliminaries and margins; otherwise a very good copy. 1918 signature on first free endpaper. Decorated by publisher's device on title page. A collection of sixty poems, by John Masefield (1878-1967), Poet Laureate, 1930-67. Some appeared previously in periodicals, or were 'issued privately, in a book now out of print.' The four titled poems are The Ship, The Blacksmith, The Frontier and Midnight.
