The first US edition, published in one volume, of this important collection of source material for the life and work of Coleridge. It was edited By Thomas Allsop (1795-1880) a close friend of the poet since 1818 and who later became involved in radical politics. The first English edition, published in the same year, 1836, by Moxon, appeared in two volumes. A scarce title.
