The story of the Kathleen from her launch at Gravesend in 1901, through her half century of of trading under sail and then power to her restoration in the 1960's. Her final destination was a houseboat in Holland, less her spars and fittings used by the author, who was twice her owner, to restore the sailing barge, Wyvenhoe.
