Pastedowns a little cockled, probably owing to production fault; otherwise a very good copy/. Illustrated throughout in colour and black and white. Decorated by publisher's device on title page. Catalogue of the graphic works up to 1983 of John Piper (1903-92), painter, printmaker and designer. An official war artist in World War II, his work particularly focused on the British landscape, he also designed the stained glass Baptistery window of the rebuilt Coventry Cathedral. A catalogue of 368 items with eight indexes, compiled by Orde Levinson, Namibian born art historian based in Oxford.
