Notes
This is the vignette illustration above the letter press from J.M.W. Turner's "Views on The Southern Coast" Turners book was originally published in parts commencing in 1814 hence the date 1814 on the engraving but was not completed until 1826. Shows the town from the east with a plowman in the foreground.
