Bound in original quarter cloth over cloth boards, gilt, with gilt blocks, in pictorial dust wrapper, with pasted in photographs on front board and spine, which has light edge wear at head. A few water stains on spine cloth and a little foxing, largely confined to endpapers and fore edge, but otherwise a very good copy. 1955 inscription on first free endpaper.

Eric Parker (1870-1955) was Editor-in-Chief of The Field and a writer on sport, topography and natural history. Chapters cover game birds, wild fowl and other birds, mammals and game fish. A reprint of the first edition of 1935.
