Illustrated by 48 pages of colour plates,including maps, by 48 text figures, including maps and by numerous distribution maps. A work of phytogeography and a field guide. The preliminaries include an account of the botanist, Trevor G. Evans and sections on geology, habitats, botanical sites, changes in the flora and lists and initials of recorders. The greater part of the book consists of the individual species accounts with distribution maps.
