Illustrated by 33 pages of black and white prints, including frontispiece and by drawings in text. Decorated by publisher's device on title page. Map endpapers. Detailed architectural survey of the historic centre of Farnham, Surrey, by Nigel Hal Longdale Temple (1926-2003), born in Lowestoft, artist, author and lecturer, who attended Farnham School of Art, 1948-52. The first edition was locally published by The Herald Press, 1963.
