Fifteen essays on Celtic Christianity in Britain and Ireland, edited by Professor James Patrick Mackey (1934-2020). Born and educated in Ireland, he was appointed to the chair of theology at the University of Edinburgh in 1979. The essays include studies of Saint Patrick, Irish and Celtic monks, Protestantism in Scottish Highland culture, Wales and the reformation and the Evangelical Revival, Celtic art and theology (Pelagius) and the Spiritual Upshot of Ulysses.
