A little browning of fly leaves, but otherwise a very good copy. Illustrated by 22 text figures. Reprint of the standard work on bibliography and early printing first published 1927. Ronald McKerrow (1872-1940), educated at Harrow and Cambridge was a leading Shakespeare scholar, bibliographer and historian of the book and the book trade of the first half of the twentieth century. In 1912 he became joint honorary secretary of the Bibliographical Society and later edited its journal, The Library.
