Notes
This Act enlarges one of 1812 with a similar title. In response to this the trustees pulled down the old church and erected a new church and tower but fell into financial difficulties in doing so. The new act authorises the levying of a rate by the trustees to recover some of the funds spent. There is no further reference to the new workhouse in the main text of the act.
