Three page epistle in French from author, dated Canterbury 19 November 1872, also bound in.

Notes

An interesting bound collection of the author's accounts of archaeological excavations in East Kent with a presentation letter. This copy is inscribed and signed and was clearly a gift to a French colleague M. Henri...... as is witnessed by the accompanying letter, which has what appears to be a response from the recipient on the last page.
We have not seen a copy of this paper before. Rare.
