8vo. 7.5 x 5 inches. 35 + [1] pp. In pictorial stiff card boards, in matching unclipped dust wrapper, which has edge wear at head and tail of spine. The boards are similar, but otherwise a very good clean copy. Illustrated by 16 pages of colour plates and 8 pages of text figures. Dust wrapper designed by Gordon Cullen. King Penguin edition of figures and plates selected from the works on Oxford by Ackermann (1764-1834) and Ingram (1774-1850) cited above. Edited by Howard Montagu Colvin (1919-2007), architectural historian and author of The History of the King's Works (1963-1982).
