A History Of The Weald Of Kent..
Original green decorated cloth with gilt titles and gilt and black decoration and different gilt vignettes to upper boards. The binding on these books was never very strong and these volumes show signs of use. Skilfully rebacked with original backstrips laid on. Some repairs to folding maps but internally good.

Notes
A set of the standard source book on the geology and history of the Weald. A much underrated work which is central to the county's history and valuable reference. This is not the nicest copy we've ever had, a reading copy would best describe it, and the condition is reflected in the price.
