Top edge gilt. Fly leaves browned and fore and lower edges foxed, with occasional marginal traces; otherwise a very good copy. A collection of epigrams, maxims and quotations on the subject of women, mostly by men. By G. F. Monkshood (1872-), stated by the British Library to be the pseudonym of William James Clarke.
