A little wear to extremities, sunning of spine, browning of flyleaves and foxing of edges, preliminaries and scattered in margins; otherwise a very good copy. Signature of John Romilly Roget on first free endpaper. Decorated by publisher's device on verso of half title. The Irish playwright, Sean O'Casey (1880-1964) was a nationalist sympathiser. These are the first two plays of his Dublin Trilogy, set in the city's tenements and showing the effect of revolutionary politics on working class life. The action of Juno takes place during the Irish Civil War.
