A little fore edge staining, but otherwise a very good copy. 1979 gift inscription on front pastedown. Illustrated by 16 pages of black and white plates and by map and text figure. Detailed account of the 1918 naval raids on Zeebrugge and Ostend to block the exit of German U-boats. It includes lists of vessels taking part, awards and citations and of casualties. By military historian, Philip Warner (1914-2000).
