A little wear to extremities, but otherwise a very good copy. Illustrated in black and white. Decorated by publisher's device on title page. A title in Leo Cooper's Famous Regiments series. A history of the Scots Guards from 1642 to the 1960s, by Anthony Goodinge who served with the Guards in the Italian Campaign. It includes appendices on the Regiment's music, colours and badges, lists the Colonels and has an introduction by Lieutenant-General Sir Brian Horrocks (1895-1985).
