Illustrated by photographic portrait frontispiece. Decorated by publisher's device on title page. A work of social satire, this is a humorous fiction purporting to be the diaries of Henry William Polderoy (1825-1902), covering the years 1868-1886. Edward Colwyn Vulliamy (1886-1971) was a Welsh historian, biographer and writer of mystery novels. Third impression of first edition published 1943.
