Notes
Third impression of the first edition in the year of first publication. Laurence Whistler (1912-2000) was a poet and artist who came to specialise in glass engraving, designing the windows of many public buildings. This title is largely an account of his life with the actress, Jill Furse (1915-44), his first wife and includes numerous photographic portraits of her.
