A little wear to extremities and browning of edges, but otherwise a very good copy. Illustrated by 31 pages of black and white plates, including portrait frontispiece and by 4 colour plates. Decorated by title page and chapter heading vignettes. Facsimile signatures of C. Day Lewis and author. Pictorial endpapers.
