Some foxing of flyleaves and preliminaries, but otherwise a very good set. Engraved bookplates of Henry Horne, engraved by him. Illustrated by 4 engraved titles and 8 engraved plates, all drawn by Westall and engraved by Chas. Heath and published by Rodwell and Martin, 1819. Stories from The Arabian Nights, which first appeared in translation in Europe from the early eighteenth century. Illustrated by Richard Westall, RA (1765-1838), history and portrait painter and prolific book illustrator. Elected RA in 1794, he was briefly drawing master to Queen Victoria.
