Number stamped on first free endpaper. Illustrated by 16 pages of black and white plates and by map and table in text. History and survey of the Scottish island of Staffa, famous for its geology and literary and musical and artistic associations, especially of Fingal's Cave, by Donald Brown MacCulloch (d. c.1980), writer on the West Highlands. Now appearing in The Islands Series, it also serves as the fourth revised edition of the author's work, first published as The Isle of Staffa, 1927.
