4to. 13.75 x 11 inches. 96 pp. In half cloth spine over sugar paper boards with printed paper label. Deckled edges. Extremities worn, water stains at foot of first free endpaper and title page and occasional traces of light foxing ; otherwise a very good copy. Illustrated by engraved frontispiece and title, painted by J. Stothard R.A. and engraved by J. Heath. The first in a six part series of Shakespeare's plays published by J. Heath and George and John Robinson in 1802. James Heath (1757-1834) was an engraver who enjoyed the patronage of George III and his successors. He collaborated with the artist, Thomas Stothard, R.A. (1755-1834), as here in his Shakespeare volumes.
