A little wear to extremities, browning of fly leaves and spotting of edges; otherwise a very good copy. Mainly set in the England of D-day, this is the story of an English Wren, who shoots down a plane of Polish refugees and filled with guilt, subsequently moves to Australia (as the author did). Nevil Shute Norway (1899-1960) was an aeronautical engineer and novelist.
