Attractively illustrated guide to the most commonly found wild plants with scientific descriptions and practical information on identifying and finding them. The chapters are arranged by month. Agnes Catlow (c.1807-89) wrote a number of titles, some with her sister, on botany, conchology, gardening for children and continental sketches. The first edition was published 1848 and her Popular Garden Botany (1855) was a later companion to this title.
