Spine and board edges a little sunned, slight wear to extremities and light foxing, largely confined to endpapers and preliminaries; otherwise a very good copy. Pictorial bookplate of Arthur Stuart Beazley (1884-1984), of Bethersden, member of Kent Archaeological Society). 1952 folded newspaper cutting on John Evelyn as Garden Architect tipped into rear pastedown.
