Minor wear to extremities and stain at top edge of front endpapers; otherwise a very good copy. Illustrated by 45 colour plates at beginning and by 6 black and white additional plates at end. Decorated by facsimile initials of William Blake on title page. Part One of the book prints the forty five plates of William Blake to illustrate his 1804 autobiographical poem, Milton, reprinted in Part Two. Part Three is the commentary by the editors, Kay Parkhurst and Roger Easson, associate professors at Memphis State University and directors of The Center for the Study of William Blake. The work was published by Thames and Hudson in England the following year.
