A little wear to extremities, but otherwise a very good copy. Illustrated by black and white photographs, airport plan and drawings of airline crests and logos. A guide to London Airport with no mention of the word, Heathrow. A nostalgic reminder of the fifties and early sixties when families and plane spotters could gather on top of the Queen's Building to watch the busy aviation scene below. The core of the work is the Spotter's Guide arranged by aircraft registration, type and airline. In this age before the arrival of the pure jet there are Super Constellations, DC. 4s,6s and 7s, Britannias and Viscounts, Elizabethans and Stratocruisers, Breguets and Dakotas.
