Bound in Half Calf gilt, Signed by Riviere and Son over marbled boards Spine in 6 compartments with raised bands and lettered gilt title labels all decorated in gilt.,top edge gilt others deccol, with marbled endpapers. The binding is signed on the verso of the front free endpaper. Spines uniformly very slightly faded but hinges and bindings are strong and beautiful. The text block of each volume is exceptionally clean and sound without blemish. The scholarly definitive edition of the texts of all the Bronte's novels illustrated with portraits and facsimiles of letters and original title pages as well as photographs from Bronte locations throughout.
