Illustrated throughout in colour. Title page and endpiece vignettes. Pictorial endpapers. Early French edition of the second instalment of the adventures of Babar, the orphaned elephant. By Jean de Brunhoff (1899-1937), French writer and illustrator. It retains the date of the first French edition of 1932.
