Spine and edges sunned and hinges starting to crack; otherwise a very good copy. Early and 1937 (pencil) inscription and signature at head of title. Illustrated by engraved frontispiece and by chapter heading vignette wood engravings. Decorated by title page vignette. A study of world wine culture with numerous statistical appendices, by Cyrus Redding (1785-1870), magazine editor and author. The first edition was published 1833.
